Outside Sales Account Executive

Paidly, an HR benefit platform that supports student loan repayment as a benefit, is looking to add a talented Account Executive that thrives in a dynamic sales environment.
Profile: The Account Executive will play a pivotal role in achieving our ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives. The selected candidate must have a documented track record of successful sales experience in the employee benefits space, with the ability to guide potential customers through the entire sales cycle, while supporting growth through channel partners including benefit brokers and professional employment organizations (PEOs). A strong technical background is also necessary to sell our technology platform, requiring product demonstrations via video conference and in person.
Supervision: This position reports to the VP of Sales & Marketing. This position has no direct reports.
Responsibilities:
· Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails to both benefit brokers, PEOs, and direct companies.
· Understand customer needs and requirements.
· Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest.
· Onboard and support channel partners throughout the sales process where applicable.
· Maintain and expand CRM within assigned territories.
· Ability to travel within your territory on a regular basis to meet with prospects and customers.
· Attend and exhibit at necessary industry tradeshows.

Qualifications
· Three to five years’ experience in employee benefit sales, tech experience preferred; Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
· Self-starter, eager to always learn and improve.
· Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and organizational skills and a proven ability to sell.
· Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
· Strong listening and presentation skills.
· Proficient with third-party databases and workflow management software, as well as Google and Microsoft platforms.
· Ability to travel 50%.
· A valid driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record.
