Job Purpose

Dojo Five offers products and services to revolutionize the embedded firmware development industry. With over 335 years of combined expertise, Dojo Five helps companies optimize their embedded software development systems by integrating tools, techniques, technologies, and culture to deliver modern firmware for embedded systems.

We are looking to hire a Director of Marketing to join our growing team. This position is 60 - 70% strategy development and management and 30 - 40% hands-on execution. The individual will work closely with the Engineering, Product, and Sales teams to build out our marketing capabilities, develop and manage external positioning, messaging, collateral, and sales enablement materials. You will quickly become an expert on embedded software development, the market, our customers, and competition, translating this knowledge into high-impact materials that communicate the value of our services and products to the marketplace.

This is a hybrid role based in St. Paul, MN.

Responsibilities

  • Create, manage, and implement all marketing platforms that position Dojo Five s services and products in the marketplace as leaders in embedded firmware and drive qualified leads.
  • Create, expand, and optimize omni-channel marketing campaigns targeting business and technical buyers of embedded software services and products to drive qualified leads.
  • Manage nurture campaigns to move buyers through a continuous lead/buying cycle.
  • Continuously evaluate, enhance, and maintain a competitive set of marketing materials to clearly convey the distinctive value proposition and benefits of our products and services and move purchasers through the buying journey.
  • Develop and manage outbound marketing materials including brochures, web content, blogs, white papers, video, etc.
  • Develop a strong understanding of partner needs and build co-marketing plans with top partners including developing co-marketing content.
  • Develop and execute an annual conference and event strategy and calendar focused on building brand recognition, strengthening partner collaboration, and acquiring new customers.
  • Contribute to quarterly and annual planning efforts.
  • Manage agency and contractor resources to effectively implement campaigns and ensure high performing channels and marketing infrastructure.
  • Support product team with developer community initiatives.

Requirements

  • 10+ years in B2B technology marketing, preferably in software products and services, including experience building, evolving, refining, optimizing, and expanding marketing platforms.
  • BA or BS degree in business, marketing, or communications.
  • Experience planning and executing complex omni-channel marketing campaigns focused on driving qualified leads.
  • Experience in developing high-impact, technically focused marketing, and sales collateral, such as web content, blogs, white papers, video, etc.
  • Experience in developing and managing channel/partner programs.
  • Experience sourcing, analyzing, and presenting marketing data and metrics to report on marketing results and optimize marketing campaigns and channel performance.
  • Proficiency with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts, and pivot tables).
  • Experience with HubSpot or comparable CRM systems.
  • Proficiency with PowerPoint, basic design tools like Canva, and other related software.
  • Strong technical acumen and ability to interact with highly technical people and technologies.
  • Strong collaboration skills with team members, internal stakeholders, agencies, and partners.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional organizational and analytical skills.
  • Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Highly self-motivated

However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
