Technical Sales Support Engineer

About the job

We are looking for a motivated and skilled Pre-Sales Support Engineer with a strong background in drafting, particularly with facilities design. In this role, you will play a crucial part in collaborating with the sales team to design and redesign plants using advanced equipment. The position will involve on-site visits to assess and understand clients' requirements, and you'll develop customized solutions using AUTOCAD.

What youll be doing:

  • Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements and provide technical solutions.
  • Conduct on-site visits to assess layouts and equipment configurations.
  • Create detailed drawings and technical documentation using AUTOCAD for plant design or redesign.
  • Customize solutions to optimize plant efficiency based on client needs.
  • Assist in the creation of proposals and presentations for clients.
  • Provide technical support and guidance throughout the sales process.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless solution implementation.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and technological advancements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering, or an Associate's degree in AutoCAD, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of drafting experience, preferably in the food production industry.
  • Proficiency in AUTOCAD and other drafting software.
  • Strong technical communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time to client sites.
