Overview
The Senior Analyst, Supply Chain will be responsible for day-to-day analytical, strategic, and operational support within the supply chain department; leading initiatives to enhance the digital capabilities of the Supply Chain function, as well as identifying opportunities to improve operational efficiencies through systems and process improvements. Automation and control tower analytics will play a key part of the Supply Chain group s future, and this role will be responsible for leading various initiatives supporting data creation, management, utilization, and reporting.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- Responsible for various aspects of operations and support of the key system platforms to support end-to-end supply chain process.
- Performs hands-on data analyses, reporting, and modeling to develop insights and recommendations to inform decisions across the supply chain.
- Partner to supply chain functions to understand business processes and develop relationships to successfully enable the delivery of analytics.
- Enhance supply chain responsiveness, agility, and optimization and to build tools that will drive business decisions.
- Develop and enable more efficient workflows, to improve/automate reporting, analytics, and dashboard capabilities.
- Translates business functional requirements into technical specifications and, conversely, technical approaches into easily digestible terms.
- Responsible for creating and maintaining procedures and documentation; having a detailed understanding of SOPs, job aids, forms, and reference material required to monitor and manage formal change controls and other implementation activities.
- Effectively plans and collaborates with team members on data-driven projects to improve internal tools, systems, and data outputs.
- Partnering with cross-functional teams and forums to maintaining operational and procedural alignment.
- Partners closely with supply chain leadership on designing a measurement strategy and developing of KPIs.
- Must be able to craft and communicate aspects of a digital and operational future state for a supply chain group.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor s degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, Computer Science, Supply Chain, or related discipline.
- Minimum of 4+ years of relevant Pharmaceutical Industry related work experience.
- Hands on experience and preferably implementation experience with pharmaceutical manufacturing, supply chain, and related systems (e.g. MES, ERP, COC/COI Systems.)
- Project management and process analysis.
- Experience in designing, maintaining, and enhancing processes.
- Understanding of metrics and key performance indicators driving supply chain operations.
- Great communication and organizational skills: ability to proactively manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel or other coding skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master s degree
- Lean Six Sigma Certification.
- Experience with cell and gene therapy products.

Physical Demands and Activities Required
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position standing or sitting for prolonged periods of time.

Work Environment
This position will work in both an office and a laboratory setting. When in the lab, there may be a risk of exposure to hazardous or biological waste within the environment through receipt, transport, storage, preparation, dispensing, administration, cleaning, and/or disposal of contaminated areas and waste.
