About the Role:
As a Software Engineer at Intelliforce, you will develop, maintain, and enhance a variety of complex software systems. Whether working independently or as part of a collaborative team, you ll play a critical role in all aspects of the software lifecycle from designing components to resolving issues and documenting test results. This role involves working with state-of-the-art software methodologies, contributing to systems requiring real-time processing, and providing innovative solutions to large-scale challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and enhance software systems, including real-time systems, data analytics, business management platforms, and large data processing applications.
- Review and test software components to ensure compliance with design requirements and document test results.
- Analyze and resolve software problem reports to maintain optimal performance.
- Provide input to system design, including hardware/software trade-offs, software reuse opportunities, and COTS/GOTS integration strategies.
- Collaborate with team members or work independently, depending on project requirements.
- Apply software development methodologies suited to the project environment.
- Strong understanding of software development and testing methodologies.
- Experience with large data manipulation, real-time system design, and analytics is a plus.
- Ability to work with Commercial Off-the-shelf (COTS) and Government Off-the-shelf (GOTS) software solutions.
- Familiarity with modern programming languages, development tools, and debugging techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
- Four (4) years of software engineering experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor s degree.
- No prior experience required this role is ideal for recent graduates or those looking to transition into software engineering.
- Clearance: TS/SCI with Polygraph
- Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen
