HumCap's client is looking to hire a Director of Information Technology and Digital Transformation.
The Director of IT spearheads the digital strategy, overseeing the infrastructure, applications, technical support, data modeling, and AI initiatives within an Azure development framework.
This role is pivotal in steering through its digital evolution, ensuring that our technological landscape is not only robust and resilient but also at the forefront of digital innovation.
The Director is tasked with crafting long-term strategic plans and proactively managing all related projects and initiatives. Their responsibilities extend to building, maintaining, and enhancing a digital ecosystem that supports cost segregation services business units effectively and efficiently.
The Director is the architect of a dynamic digital and IT strategy, encompassing organizational design, talent development, vendor management, and budgeting. They ensure that our infrastructure and application solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with our digital transformation goals, thereby enhancing the experience of our employees, contractors, and customers. This position reports to the CFO.
Key Responsibilities:
Digital Strategy and IT Governance: Collaborate with executive team to provide overarching IT and digital governance. This includes updating our strategic IT roadmap quarterly, ensuring alignment and buy-in from senior leadership.
Infrastructure and Application Modernization: Lead the transition from legacy systems to innovative SaaS platforms, leveraging Azure for cloud development, data modeling, and AI integration. Negotiate cost-effective agreements for strategic migrations and oversee their successful implementation.
Data Strategy and Analytics: Develop a comprehensive data strategy that includes the implementation of modern data warehouses/data lakes and analytics platforms like PowerBI or Tableau. Ensure that data integration and
quality are at the heart of our digital transformation efforts.
Cybersecurity and Compliance: Work closely with the vCISO to prioritize cybersecurity within the digital strategy, implementing appropriate controls and ensuring our digital assets are secure against emerging threats.
Partnership and Collaboration: Engage with various departments, including Marketing, to ensure that our digital assets (like websites and CRM platforms) are secure, efficient, and integrated with our overall digital ecosystem.
Leadership and Management: Oversee the IT and digital transformation teams, managing both in-house and outsourced talent. Ensure the delivery of high-quality, integrated digital solutions that streamline operations and
enhance our digital footprint.
Required Education and Experience:
A minimum of 5 years in IT management with a focus on digital transformation and modernization of legacy systems to cloud-based solutions, preferably within an Azure environment.
Demonstrated expertise in platform integration, data modeling, AI implementation, and the use of modern iPaaS products.
Proven experience in managing 3rd party vendors for MSP (Managed Service Provider) and MSSP services, including cybersecurity and infrastructure management.
At least 3 years of experience in managing IT applications, including agile development for bespoke systems and integration between SaaS platforms.
Familiarity with mid-market ERP solutions such as NetSuite, Sage Intacct, and the development of scalable ERP platforms to replace legacy systems like QuickBooks Enterprise.
Experience with Salesforce
A solid record of accomplishment of senior leadership experience, highlighting the ability to enhance IT organizational processes, governance activities, and team capabilities. Exceptional program management skills, with the capacity to prioritize, delegate, and oversee multidisciplinary teams from project inception to
completion.
