Location: Richfield, WI (30 minutes from Milwaukee and Waukesha)
We're Looking For An: Inventory & Supply Chain Analyst
Location: Richfield, WI (Onsite)
Shift: 2nd (Sun-Thurs 2pm - 10:30pm)
What You'll Be Doing:
- Review, audit and correct daily production reporting and consumption transactions
- Documenting and reporting discrepancies between ERP and production/supply chain paperwork
- Resolve inventory issues by determining the root cause
- Recommends best practices and ways to streamline reporting activities
- Works closely with Operations, Production Scheduling and Shipping
- Ability to train key ERP users on production and shipping-related transactions
- Assists shipping and receiving with packing slips and ERP fulfillments
- May be required to work with Buyers and/or suppliers to help resolve issues such as late delivered, defective raw materials, product returns, etc.
- Maintain KPI reports as needed including service level, stock aging, yield, shrink and waste; may investigate and report causes of KPI variances
- Actively involved in troubleshooting system issues and takes a hands-on approach on correcting reporting issues
- Will be required to go out to the production floor and help troubleshoot issues
Preferred Qualifications (Note: These are preferred and not required. We strongly encourage you to apply even if you don't tick ALL of these boxes.):
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Bachelor's degree in business or supply chain management (preferred)
- 1-3 years of experience in production planning, inventory management, plant purchasing, and/or logistics
- Experience working with manufacturing ERP (ideally Netsuite)
- Microsoft Office experience (strong in Excel)
- Experience working in a pet food manufacturing environment (preferred)
- Understanding of plant operations and production scheduling (preferred)
- Purchasing certificate and/or Production Planning certificate; APICS, CPIM (preferred)
- Forklift certification (preferred)
- Occasionally lift and/or move 50 pounds
