We are seeking a highly responsible IT Administrator to manage and maintain our IT infrastructure, ensuring the smooth operation of all systems and implementing improvements to enhance efficiency and security. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT management, a proactive and user-first approach to problem-solving, and the ability to handle critical situations with confidence and care.
GOALS & RESPONSIBILITIES
This position will allow the ideal candidate the opportunity to:
- Oversee and maintain the company's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, software, and hardware.
- Ensure the security and integrity of all IT systems, implementing necessary updates and patches.
- Manage Office 365, email, SharePoint, and relevant business communication systems while implementing best-practice security measures.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime.
- Develop and enforce IT policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Lead and support IT projects, including system upgrades and software deployments.
- Provide technical support to staff and manage helpdesk operations.
- Continuously evaluate and recommend improvements to IT systems and processes.
- Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following education, experience, and abilities:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT administration or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of network administration, server management, and cybersecurity best practices.
- Proficiency with Windows Server, Active Directory, and virtualization technologies.
- Experience with cloud services and IT infrastructure management tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical issues to non-technical staff.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator) are a plus but not required.
