POSITION SUMMARY:
The IT Site Administrator will be responsible for managing and maintaining the IT systems, hardware, and networks at our sites. This role involves troubleshooting hardware and software issues, ensuring network security, and providing technical support to staff. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT administration and a proactive approach to problem-solving and customer service.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage and maintain the site s IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and workstations.
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal operation.
Install, configure, and update hardware and software as needed.
Ensure network security by implementing and maintaining security protocols.
Provide technical support and training to staff on IT-related matters.
Maintain documentation of IT systems, processes, and procedures.
Collaborate with Corporate IT to implement company-wide IT initiatives.
Perform regular backups and ensure data integrity.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Associate s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related professional certifications in the field
5+ years of experience in an Infrastructure, Network, or IT Operations role
Advanced experience configuring and managing Next Generation Firewalls, Wireless Access Points, and VPN.
Strong experience working with IP networking technology.
Implementing and maintaining network segmentation.
Experience with Cisco networking equipment.
Proficiency in Windows Server Operating Systems.
In-depth understanding of routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, HSRP, VRRP, and VRF.
Preferred experience managing Office 365 Licenses and Tenant migrations, Azure Active Directory, Cisco Data Center Nexus Series, Dynamic Routing Protocols, Fortinet Next Generation Firewalls and WAPs, NetSuite, Parity Factory, and Soft Expert.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+, Microsoft Certifications) are a plus.
Physical Requirements:
Light work: Physically handle objects up to 50 lbs (23 KGs) occasionally.
