Description
We are looking for a proficient Automation Controls Engineer to join our team in Round Rock, Texas. The role involves a significant amount of initial connectivity to equipment and PLCs, with a focus on communication protocol and data transfer from local machines to the cloud.
Responsibilities:
Setup and establish connectivity to equipment and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), ensuring the correct IP addresses are used.
Proficiently use the communication protocol (OPC) in all tasks, as this is a critical part of our operations.
Contribute to the team's efforts by utilizing software that runs using the OPC protocol.
Manage the transfer of data from local machines to the cloud, ensuring data fidelity.
Contribute to the sustaining aspect of our operations, ensuring the smooth running of our systems.
Utilize advanced skills in Cisco Technologies, Citrix Technologies, and Cloud Technologies as part of daily operations.
Leverage knowledge of iOS Apps, Linux Technologies, and AB Testing in the execution of tasks.
Maintain and manage Active Directory and Apple Devices.
Employ proficiency in Backup Technologies and Computer Hardware in maintaining the integrity and safety of our systems.
Use skills in Manufacturing Execution System to enhance productivity and efficiency.
