We are in the process of recruiting a Quality Assurance Analyst with a focus on SDET, Automated, Java, and Python to join our team. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity and is based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. As a Quality Assurance Analyst, you will be involved in a diverse set of responsibilities, including defining and executing business scenarios, maintaining and analyzing software process data, and ensuring the delivery of quality software applications.
Responsibilities:
Establish milestones and monitor adherence to plans and schedules, identify delivery risks, and devise mitigation strategies and solutions.
Use Python scripting for JAVA middleware development, REST Json, Jenkins, Splunk, and Swagger to create and execute test cases and use cases.
Define and track quality assurance metrics such as defects, defect counts, test results, and test status.
Develop formal test plans to ensure the delivery of quality software applications and engage in test planning, writing test cases/scripts, test case automation, and test execution.
Document any problems and assist in their resolution.
Deliver quality process training to technical staff and act as an internal quality consultant to advise or influence business or technical partners.
Perform quality audits across various IT functions to ensure quality standards, procedures, and methodologies are being followed.
Utilize your experience with test case management tools like TestRail and scripting languages such as JavaScript, Jscript, VBScript, C#, Python, etc.
Leverage your familiarity with media planning and buying workflows and/or software systems.
Show your ability to function well within a team, working with POs, BAs, developers, and other team members.
Requirements
Must possess strong skills in Java, Python, and JavaScript programming languages
Proficiency in automated testing tools and methodologies
Experience with Agile Scrum development methodology is required
Familiarity with REST API testing and Defect Management
Strong understanding of quality assurance principles and techniques
Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently
Experience in maintaining logs and metric reporting
Proficient in Windows OS and related software
Well-versed in planning processes, creating test cases, and achieving milestones
Excellent written communication skills are essential
Ability to collaborate with partners and execute plans effectively
Knowledge of business process functions and case management
Familiarity with buying processes is a plus
Must hold a degree in Computer Sciences or a related field
Experience in training and developing procedures is desirable.
