Job Summary:
As the Leader of IT Infrastructure & Security, you will be at the forefront of managing and securing our organization s technical infrastructure backbone. This role encompasses IT networking, cybersecurity, user support and vendor management leadership. Key responsibilities include:
Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Responsibilities:
-Direct the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems, network servers, storage arrays, VMware virtualization technologies, cloud-based services, etc.; this includes managing patching and versioning automation and compliance.
-Create and test strategies for IT technical risk mitigation, contingency planning, fault tolerance, and disaster recovery & business continuity strategies & procedures.
-Responsible for capacity planning, storage planning, and IT infrastructure performance and resiliency.
-Establish, monitor, and report Service Level Targets and Key Performance Indicators.
-Maintain knowledge of new architectures, technologies, and service management practices.
-Work with the CIO to provide direction on what emerging IT technologies and methods should be introduced, integrated, and assimilated within Famous s environment; as well as assess what s working, not working, and the best strategy to support the business s users and future organizational growth.
2. Network and User Support Leadership:
-Lead and guide the network and helpdesk support team, ensuring smooth operations and first-class end user support and overall uptime.
-Define, create and test acceptance criteria for IP networks.
-Oversee project execution and network performance and resiliency within our sites and portfolio.
-Manage monitoring, alerts and dashboarding for servers, networks, and critical IT systems.
-Create and manage critical IT business documentation (e.g., disaster recovery, business continuity, etc.).
-Delegate and/or resolve Level 2 helpdesk issues as needed.
3. Cybersecurity Coordination:
-Create cybersecurity strategies and direct compliance with secure policies and standards.
-Serve as the bridge between our infrastructure and support teams with our cybersecurity partners.
-Collaborate as the internal security leader and point person on security initiatives, risk management/assessments, and incident remediation/response.
-Monitor and administer internal network and email threat defense tools (e.g., MS Defender, Abnormal, KnowBe4, Frontier scanning, etc.)
-Other cyber security leadership & strategic leadership as needed.
4. IT Vendor Management:
-Manage IT infrastructure vendor relationships and compliance.
-Negotiate contracts, RFQs, SLAs, and access agreements.
-Optimize infrastructure spending while maintaining service quality.
-Manage licensing audits and compliance.
Skills & Experience:
-A proven track record of developing and implementing IT strategies and plans.
-Advanced experience with Microsoft 365, Azure, AWS, LAN/WAN protocols, and Kubernetes.
-System administration and certifications in Microsoft, IT leadership & cybersecurity.
-Strong knowledge of systems, hardware, and networking software and protocols
-Experience with VMware, hypervisor servers, storage arrays, wireless access points, and standard data center networking equipment.
-Proficient in Microsoft Active Directory, Group Policy, Intune, DNS, and related applications.
Qualifications:
-Education: Bachelor s or master s degree in computer science, engineering, or related fields.
-Certifications: Relevant certifications such as ITIL, MCSE, PMP, CCNA, AWS, CISSP, CISM, etc.
