Koch Logistics is seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Warehouse Operations to oversee our warehouse facilities in Naperville, Aurora, Bolingbrook, and Corona. This leadership role is crucial in driving operational excellence and ensuring the profitability of each location. The Director will lead the recruitment, training, and supervision of Managers and Supervisors, while also implementing strategies to enhance efficiency and productivity.
Compensation: 110K - 125K, depending on experience

This leadership role is crucial in driving operational excellence and ensuring the profitability of each location. The Director will lead the recruitment, training, and supervision of Managers and Supervisors, while also implementing strategies to enhance efficiency and productivity.
Compensation: 110K - 125K, depending on experience

- Leadership & Management: Recruit, hire, train, and mentor warehouse staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Strategic Planning: Develop long-term strategies aligned with business goals to optimize warehouse operations, improve efficiency, and ensure cost-effectiveness.
- Operational Excellence: Establish and enforce policies and procedures to maintain high standards of safety, quality, and compliance.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other departments such as Customer Service, Brokerage, Sales, and Process Development to ensure smooth operations and strategic alignment.
- Performance Management: Set and monitor KPIs, implement continuous improvement initiatives, and manage budgets to meet financial goals.
- Customer Engagement: Attend business reviews, manage customer contracts, and identify opportunities for service improvement.
- Risk Management: Assess and mitigate risks related to inventory management, transportation, and regulatory compliance.
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years in the warehouse industry, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and data analysis. Knowledge of safety regulations and financial management.
