RedMatter Solutions is currently seeking a Junior Computer Programmer who will assist with the implementation of identity, credentialing and access management (ICAM) services for federal government agencies. As part of your role, you will assist in the development and deployment of key ICAM processes such as Application Onboarding, Lifecycle Event Configuration, Role Based Access Control, and Access Certifications. Responsibilities will include the development of new functionalities in the discovery, requirements gathering, development, testing, deployment, and support phases. The role will allow you to develop deep relationships with client executives and key stakeholders in order to understand and develop the most efficient and effective solutions.
Technical and Product Skills (3+ Years Experience)
Required
- Experience in programming languages such as: Java, C++, Ruby, .Net, Etc.
- Knowledge of databases and operating systems.
- Good working knowledge of email systems and Microsoft Office software.
- Ability to learn new software and technologies quickly.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory and/or Azure Active Directory
- Knowledge of basic networking principles (SSL/TLS, DNS, Firewalls)
- Knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle
- Ability to follow instructions and work in a team environment.
- Detail-oriented.
- Strong verbal and written skills
Preferred
- Experience in at least two or more of the following ICAM Vendor technologies or skills: SailPoint, ForgeRock, Okta, CyberArk, Ping, etc.
- Knowledge of government programs and projects
- Experience with PowerShell scripting
- Experience with Web development
- Experience with industry DevOps tools like Azure DevOps or AWS
- Experience with SSL/TLS certificates and Load Balancing
- Experience with Apache Web Applications
- Experience with Log4J2 configurations
Job Function and Daily Responsibilities
- Operate within an agile scrum team
- Facilitate meetings with clients on current ICAM services and capabilities
- Troubleshoot current ICAM systems and services
- Conduct proof of concepts for new ICAM technologies
- Document use-cases and business process workflows
- Develop briefing materials for executives
- Support Tier III helpdesk operations
