The Radiology Systems Analyst will be responsible for providing training and support to users on the Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS). This includes assisting radiologists with configuring diagnostic workstation personal hanging protocols and other issues as needed and supporting the creation and execution of QC programs for diagnostic workstations. The Radiology Systems Analyst will also be responsible for administering and maintaining the PACS & RIS system, including adding new users, managing permissions, and ensuring data integrity.
In this role, you will:
- Assisting radiologists with configuration of diagnostic workstations, personal and system hanging protocols and other issues as needed.
-Supporting the installation of new DICOM modality connections and analyzing HL7 interface transactions to validate data workflow.
- Performing manual correction of system data entry errors and troubleshooting system and connectivity issues.
- Supporting PACS/RIS interfaces with other clinical systems and affiliate institutions.
- Supporting the creation and execution of QC programs for diagnostic workstations.
- Managing all digital image transfers (import/export/archive), assigning system user rights (including user additions and deletions), preparing images for storing and transmitting, transmitting images to patients and providers, performing routine maintenance on PACS and RIS, and upgrading these systems as needed.
- Collaborating with IT and other departments to implement new software and hardware installs/updates.
- Participating in the development and implementation of new PACS system features.
- Maintaining accurate documentation of PACS system configuration and maintenance.
- Managing EHR Integration with the RIS system
We require:
Knowledge of HealthCare integration standards such as HL7, DICOM, XML, and HTML
- 2+ years of experience in Radiology IT
- Strong understanding of Radiology systems and related technologies
The ability to work independently and in a team environment
Experience with PACS systems and related technologies
Strong technical skills and knowledge of healthcare information systems
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
Strong communication and customer service skills
The Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred but not required
Hours: Monday Friday
Salary up to 120,000 a year commensurate with education and experience. Benefits include Tuition Reimbursement, Health Insurance on day 1 of employment, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short and Long-term disability, 401k Plan, generous PTO time, 8 paid holidays (2 floating), and more.
