  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Title: WebSphere Application Server Administrator
Duration: 12 Months
Location: Columbus, OH

Summary:
We are seeking an experienced WebSphere Application Server Administrator with advanced skills in cloud system administration (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud) and containerized applications on Linux/AIX. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in multi-tier and multi-platform enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer and monitor WebSphere Application Servers, perform upgrades and security patches
  • Design solutions and collaborate with development teams for deployment and maintenance
  • Manage cloud environments and containerized applications
  • Write and deploy shell scripts, automate tasks, and manage CI/CD pipelines
  • Communicate with clients and stakeholders regarding project status and deployment schedules
  • Conduct system audits and assess security solutions

Mandatory Skills:

  • 12+ years of relevant experience
  • Strong knowledge of Unix/Linux/Windows systems
  • Experience with CI/CD tools (Ansible, Jenkins, etc.) and version control (Git, Subversion)
  • Expertise in WebSphere, cloud platforms, and container orchestration (Kubernetes/OpenShift)
  • Experience with SSL and application security
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 4-year degree in Computer Science or equivalent
  • Certifications in WebSphere, Azure, AWS, or RedHat OpenShift
  • Familiarity with Docker, Python, Windows PowerShell, and JavaScript

Work Schedule:

  • 8-10 hours per day, M-F (flexible hours between 7 AM - 6 PM)
  • Subject to on-call rotation
