General Summary

Reveleer s Technology organization is focused on building and managing our cloud native SaaS platform. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Vice President (SVP) of Engineering to lead and manage the engineering functions of our diverse product suites. This role will collaborate closely with Infrastructure, Platform Services, Engineering Operations, and Product Management teams to ensure the successful delivery and continuous improvement of our healthcare solutions. The SVP of Engineering will also oversee our remote and offshore teams, fostering growth and excellence in our engineering practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive Technology Innovation: Ensure our applications and services are performant, accurate, scalable, maintainable, and well-documented; Cultivate a culture of innovation and continuous improvement, incorporating the latest technologies and practices in the healthcare SaaS domain.

  • Lead Engineering Teams: Lead and manage distributed onshore and offshore engineering teams, ensuring effective collaboration and high performance across different geographies and time zones.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with Product, Infrastructure, Engineering Ops, and Design leadership teams to manage and deliver cross-functional projects and initiatives.

  • Technical Architecture: Collaborate with the Chief Architect to implement the technical architecture of Reveleer s products and drive architectural investments into the release schedule, continuously addressing technical debt.

  • Strategic Platform Evolution: Define and implement the evolution of our technology platform to support scale, performance, and componentization, offering our platform as a service to other customers in the healthcare space.

  • Security & Compliance: Ensure robust security protocols and compliance measures, particularly in relation to healthcare data and regulations.

  • Service Reliability: Partner with Infrastructure, Security, and IT to ensure mission-critical services exceed customer SLAs and scale smoothly with increased usage.

  • Infrastructure Roadmaps: Define and prioritize platform and cloud infrastructure roadmaps to support massive customer growth and drive economies of scale.

  • Quality Engineering: Lead the Quality Excellence team and drive our CI/CD and performance testing methodology for rapid software advances combined with high solution quality.

  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Partner with Data teams to transform transactional data into analytical data and maintain a culture of data-driven decision-making.

  • Team Strategy and Development: Define and own a staffing and team strategy that includes both onshore and offshore teams, ensuring high engagement, diversity, and satisfaction; Foster professional growth and development within the engineering team, building a pipeline of future leaders.

  • Technology and Platform Investments: Manage our technology roadmap and balance technology and platform investments with our overall product and business objectives.

  • Long-Term Technology Strategy: Along with the CTO and Chief Architect, define our long-term technology strategy and multi-year technology and infrastructure roadmap.

  • Agile Practices: Champion agile development practices and consistency across the product organization; Utilize a metrics-driven approach to manage team performance and project progress, ensuring alignment with business goals.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

  • 15+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 5 years in a hands on senior leadership role (e.g., VP, SVP, or CTO).

  • Experience leading large multi-site SaaS engineering teams of 100+ people, including remote and offshore teams.

  • Proven success in developing high-availability, mission-critical systems, with specific experience in scaling systems for exponential growth.

  • Extensive experience leveraging AWS (or similar) cloud environments, ensuring high system availability, observability, and performance.

  • Highly collaborative style with experience partnering with Product Management, Cloud Engineering, Data Science, Design, and User Research.

  • Strong communication skills to inspire teams and help them understand the technology strategy and how engineering initiatives contribute to overall company success.

  • Proven experience in hiring and building teams with high employee engagement and morale.

  • Experience in the healthcare industry, particularly in value-based care, is a plus.

  • Deep understanding of agile practices at scale and affinity for diving deep into technical details.

  • Self-starter and self-motivated with the proven ability to deliver results in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.

  • Works effectively with cross-functional teams to build a trusted partnership.
