Hybrid - Required 2 days (Tuesday & Friday) on site at
Work Hours M-F 7:00AM to 3:30PM EST
The above 2 In-Office days as well as Work Hours may be subjected to change as per business needs.
Performs System Center Configuration Management (SCCM) administration & troubleshooting Supports endpoint vulnerability through security related applications (e.g., anti-virus, vulnerability scanning, & patch management) Administers SCCM software delivery including various methods (e.g., runs advertised programs, machine/user targeted) Evaluates effectiveness & risks of Information Technology Services (ITS) processes Evaluates current IT policies, procedures and practices and recommends changes Administers SCCM back-end & maintains system reliability (e.g., changes core components/settings, backup/restore, software delivery, clients, boundaries, & bandwidth settings). Troubleshoots failed SCCM deployments & SCCM stability issues; administers testing & deployments & troubleshoots failed updates Provide training to existing staff on the use of SCCM
Detailed Day-To-Day Job Duties to be performed:
Performs System Center Configuration Management (SCCM) administration & troubleshooting
Supports endpoint vulnerability through security related applications (e.g., anti-virus, vulnerability scanning, & patch management)
Administers SCCM software delivery including various methods (e.g., runs advertised programs, machine/user targeted)
Evaluates effectiveness & risks of Information Technology Services (ITS) processes
Evaluates current IT policies, procedures and practices and recommends changes
Administers SCCM back-end & maintains system reliability (e.g., changes core components/settings, backup/restore, software delivery, clients, boundaries, & bandwidth settings).
Troubleshoots failed SCCM deployments & SCCM stability issues; administers testing & deployments & troubleshoots failed updates
Provide training to existing staff on the use of SCCM
REQUIRED Skill Sets:
10+ years of experience with the job duties listed above and the requirements listed below
4-year college degree or equivalent technical study.
Experience in a customer support and personal service role
Experience with technical writing and documentation practices
Capabilities and physical application of network equipment (e.g., hubs, routers, switches, bridges, servers) and related hardware
SCCM administration
Organizations operation environment, topology, & protocols
Thorough understanding and applied experience with:
o Local area and wide area networking principles and concepts
o Back-up & recovery techniques
o Performance monitoring methods
o Basic internet server maintenance techniques
o Installation & configuration procedures
o Computer installation & configuration procedures
o Data recovery tools and techniques
Ability to prepare meaningful, accurate and concise reports
Provide training to existing staff on the use of SCCM
