DESCRIPTION:
We are seeking a full-time Electrical Engineer to join our well-established, multi-disciplinary Architecture and Engineering firm at Greenwood, MS. The position requires thorough knowledge of electrical design for a wide range of facility types and projects varying in size and complexity. A successful candidate will demonstrate engineering and design experience with a focus on lighting, power distribution, and fire alarm/security to assure safe, reliable and energy efficient operation with a focus on sustainability and cost-effective solutions. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an emphasis on the ability to organize and present design information to clients, as well as collaborate with all other disciplines to create constructable designs.

REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Must possess a Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering;
- Professional Engineering License preferred, or pathway to quickly achieve P.E.
- A strong work ethic and a drive to exceed client expectations.
- A team-oriented personality.
Ideal candidate will have:
- Experience in all aspects of building design, project management and construction administration.
- Ability to perform design elements such as equipment selection, system sizing, load calculations, product specifications, and design layouts for electrical systems.
- Demonstrate a strong technical knowledge of complex building designs, codes, specifications, and standards that would be required by Federal and State entities.
- Experience preparing construction documents using AutoCAD and/or Revit.
