Position Overview:

As we continue to grow, we are seeking a highly skilled IT Administrator, who will be responsible for designing, configuring, monitoring, and maintaining KNZ Solutions IT systems and infrastructure, ensuring that all technology solutions operate smoothly, securely, and efficiently.
This role involves network management, server maintenance, hardware and software support, and troubleshooting technical issues. The IT Administrator will work closely with other departments to implement and maintain technology solutions that align with business objectives.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Monitors, configures, and administers servers in Microsoft Windows and Linux environments. Develops and recommends server specifications and standards.
  • Works with vendors to resolve actual or potential server or application outages.
  • Provide day to day administration of existing Microsoft Teams and Cisco Webex services including permissions and access management, site configuration, issue resolution, and end user support for KNZ Solutions and Customers.
  • Support development of the collaboration architecture, governance plan, and overall strategy.
  • Act as a collaboration tools advocate to drive adoption and reinforce best practices, educate end users about collaboration tools capabilities, and conduct and lead training sessions.
  • Facilitate the configuration and troubleshooting of business applications using Office365, the Microsoft Power Platform, Webex Control Hub and other third-party tools.
  • Stay current with Office 365, Webex and third-party roadmaps, new technology releases, changes, and updates with attention to their effects in our environment.
  • Support in resolving MS Teams, Webex and VTC tickets, escalate when appropriate, and evaluate ticket complexity and determine if 3rd party support is needed for KNZ Solutions and Customers.
  • Configures and maintains all VMware and Azure-based servers, including SANs and UPS.
  • Applies server and business application patches and updates.
  • Manages requests and deploys SSL certificates for applications and servers.
  • Administers Microsoft Exchange and Microsoft 365 environments, Session Border Controller, including configuration and troubleshooting.
  • Administers Microsoft Exchange and Microsoft 365 environments, including user configuration and troubleshooting.
  • Configures and maintains Azure Intune management of Windows/Mac Workstations and mobile devices.
  • Configures Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, printing and all other network services in coordination with the Assistant Director of Information Services.
  • In coordination with the Database Administrator installs, configures, and maintains databases.
  • Create and maintain formalized documentation of existing workflows and processes
  • Confers with external consultants and providers as needed to recommend hosting, connectivity, and network services to leadership regarding compatibility, viability, and cost effectiveness.
  • Recommends, research, tests, and implements network software, hardware, and outsourcing solutions.
  • Monitors industry hardware and networking trends and developments.
  • Assists Technology staff in research and troubleshooting as needed.
  • Participate in customer on-call rotation

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
  • Associate degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school;
  • Three to Five years of professional experience in IT and consulting with clients.
  • Experience with developing technical documentation
  • Cisco Webex and Microsoft Teams experience
  • Knowledge of PowerShell and other Microsoft development tools
  • Experience in managing small IT projects in an independent way
  • Microsoft Excel, Word, SharePoint

Base Salary Range:
$70k - $100k
