Joining the Customs and Border Protection Office of Field Operations will allow you to use your expertise to manage one or more national programs in order to help to detect and prevent terrorists and instruments of terror from entering/exiting the U.S. Apply for this exciting opportunity to direct programs that strengthen the Department's ability to perform homeland security.

This position starts at a salary of $117,962.00 (GS-13, Step 1) to$149,422.00 (GS-13, Step 10) with promotion potential to $149,422.00$ GS-13Step 10).

In this position you will become a key member of a team of homeland security professionals responsible for detecting and preventing terrorists and instruments of terror from entering the U.S. Typical work assignments include:

  • Conducting comprehensive trend and data analysis on work activities utilizing specialized tools in an effort to identify potential internal corruption, insider threats, training issues, and/or systemic vulnerabilities.
  • Conducting periodic visits to OFO worksites within their Area of Responsibility (AOR) to conduct port assessments and ensure visibility of the Integrity Program at the port and employee level, conduct integrity engagement activities, and conduct integrity programs related activities.
  • Developing integrity-related musters for delivery to CBP employees within their AOR, as they deem appropriate, based on local risks, trends, and vulnerabilities.
  • Monitoring Joint Intake Center (JIC) referrals and passenger complaints from the Compliment and Complaint Management System which are initiated within their AOR to identify trends and provide recommendations to management on ways to address these trends in conjunction with Labor Employee Relations (LER) and Office of Professional Responsibility (OPR).
