A day in the life of a Recruiter:

  • Conducting phone screens: Once you have identified promising candidates, you will conduct phone screenings to further evaluate their skills, experience, and cultural fit. You will ask questions designed to assess each candidate's qualifications and experience, as well as their ability to work well with others.
  • Scheduling interviews: You will be responsible for coordinating the schedules of candidates, hiring managers, and other team members involved in the hiring process. You will schedule phone screens, in-person interviews, and any other assessments or evaluations required for each candidate.
  • Checking references: Before extending an offer to a candidate, you will typically check their references to verify their qualifications and confirm their employment history.
  • Making job offers: Once you have identified the best candidate for the position, you will extend a job offer and negotiate compensation and other terms of employment.
  • Keeping track of candidate data: You will be responsible for keeping track of candidate data and updating our applicant tracking system (ATS) with relevant information about each candidate and their status in the hiring process.
