Vestia Personal Wealth Advisors is a rapidly growing financial planning firm with primary locations in Nashville, TN, Fort Wayne, IN, and several team members in other locations across the country. Our Financial Advisors are coachable, lifelong learners with generous salaries and a path to partnership in the firm if desired.

Job Summary:

The Supporting Financial Advisor is a common entry and launch point without our firm, providing technical support for more experienced financial advisors, tax specialists, and estate planning attorneys. Responsibilities include data gathering, modeling, case design, scenario building, plan development, presentation development, etc. May participate in client meetings, but rarely in an advice capacity.

Primary Responsibilities Include:

  • Participation and thorough note taking in most client meetings as directed by more experienced financial advisors, or tax specialists
  • Coordinating with Client Service Administrators around follow up needed after client meetings
  • Entering data in financial planning or tax management software
  • Maintaining confidentiality of client information
  • Completing any and all other duties as assigned
  • Networking through various face to face and electronic means to build a base of business connections throughout the world

Travel:

  • Travel as needed to facilitate client relationship management, support business development, or accomplish other corporate functions, and attend two off-site team retreats each year. Ability to transport oneself is necessary.

Required Experience / Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (minimum required)
  • Series 65 License (or equivalent) must be attained within 30 days of hire
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and proven ability to quickly learn other software applications as needed
  • Interpersonal skills, notable attention to detail, outstanding time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to work with a flexible schedule including occasional nights, weekend, travel as necessary for successful executive of firm business
  • Basic understanding of financial services

Preferred Experience / Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting , or business
  • 3 years financial industry
  • Experience in client facing roles

Growth Path Next Steps Could Likely Include the Following:

  • Obtaining the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER (CFP) certification
  • Obtaining the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certification
  • Promotion to Servicing Financial Advisor
