Key Responsibilities Synthesize and optimize chemical probes Design, synthesize, and optimize chemical probes for potency and solubility. Validate analysis methods Validate analysis methods for the quantification of cell kinetics. Provide assay support Provide assay support and assay development for product release and characterization. Perform laboratory procedures Perform both routine and specialized laboratory procedures. Document and analyze results Write papers and abstracts detailing research efforts and results for publication in peer-reviewed journals. Qualifications Education: Master's degree in Chemistry or related field Experience: Three years of experience in Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, or a related discipline Certifications/Licenses: Ph.D. in Chemistry, Organic Chemistry or a related discipline Skills: Strong communication skills, both oral and written - Advanced MS Office - Intermediate Core Competencies Analytical Skills Ability to analyze organic and inorganic compounds to determine chemical and physical properties. Problem Solving Design and optimize chemical experiments and procedures. Work Environment and Physical Demands Physical Demands: Ability to operate complex laboratory machines and equipment Work Environment: Perform chemical and biochemical reactions Document and analyze results Additional Requirements: Train junior laboratory staff Manage laboratory maintenance
