  • Job Title:** Registered Nurse **Job Specialty:** Rehab **Job Duration:** 13 weeks **Shift:** Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:00) **Guaranteed Hours:** Not specified **Experience:** 1 year minimum experience; 2 years preferred **License:** Registered Nurse License **Certifications:** Required: ACLS, BLS; Preferred: CPI, NIH **Must-Have:** - Previous travel experience - EPIC charting experience - Willingness to float to long-term acute care or manage med-surg patients - Every other weekend coverage (4 shifts per contract) **Job Description:** - Work in a Rehab Unit with 48 beds offering a patient ratio of 1:7. - May float to other units within the hospital to manage med-surg patients. - Provide comprehensive care for patients with conditions such as spinal cord injuries, traumatic brain injury, CVA, and those requiring neuro surgery. - Perform skills and tasks including, but not limited to: - Med/surg care - Feeding tube care and management - Hemodialysis management - Accessing ports and blood product administration - Central line blood draws and peripheral line care - Phlebotomy and PICC line management - Starting IVs and insulin management - Complete required modules onsite during orientation, with RN modules generally taking 4-6 hours.
