- Chart assembly, chart analysism coding.
- Computer abstracting of all discharged patient medical records
- Responds to patients in crisis and acts accordingly

Certified Professional Coder Requirements:
- Registered Health Information technician certification or Certified Professional Coder certification or equivalent is REQUIRED
- High school diploma or equivalent is required, with one year of coding and/or medical records experience preferred.
