Summary
We are looking for a competent Network Engineer to work onsite with our customer. This primarily involves supporting our customer s end users, configuring and maintenance of equipment, and ongoing security and technical improvements. The ideal candidate will be an experienced professional with a passion for the job. They will take operational direction from our customer s management team and demonstrate flexibility and positivity daily.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop written processes and procedures
- Analyze customer networks, IT architectures, and processes for compliance with security best practices and regulatory compliance.
- Develop and present to customers recommendations on enhancements to existing security profiles and product deployments.
- Provides technical support (help desk) to users by troubleshooting problems related to network or platform performance.
- Provides support across Azure, O365, and Meraki environments.
- Detailed ticket documentation.
- Develop written customer processes and procedures.
- Installation, configuration and support of network products and systems.
- Install, configure, and maintain global switching, routing, and wireless environment.
- As needed, provide training, give technical advice to other support personnel.
- Plan and direct own activities with minimal management supervision.
- Maintain technical competence by keeping abreast of technology and technological developments, practices, procedures, etc.
- Troubleshooting/analysis/evaluation:
- Provide input for diagnosing deviations in performance and results to be able to take proper action for correction.
- Documentation - assist in gathering data to provide technical and administrative input.
- Provide input and recommend changes to improve procedures and processes.
- Comply with all service-related policies and procedures.

Qualifications Requirements/Job Specifications
Proven proficiency in all supported products and ability to resolve problems of highest complexity. Excellent communications and interpersonal skills. Proficient at installing and supporting connectivity and high-end systems products efficiently and reliably. Excellent troubleshooting skills. Must maintain certification and demonstrate an elevated level of competence on software and hardware as defined by management.
Education: Bachelor s degree or equivalent experience
Experience: 4+ years of experience required in a technology environment including advanced systems integration experience.
Skills: A clear understanding of present and developing technology trends and the ability to analyze and make decisions. Additionally, strong presentation, written, and teamwork skills are mandatory.
Working time: 40 hours/week. All other times as defined by the demands of the customers and department s needs.
Lifting: Typically, no lifting more than 60 lbs.
