Job Title: Senior ETL Developer

Position Summary:
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior ETL Developer with extensive experience in the Talend Data Fabric toolset to support data transformation and integration initiatives. This role involves converting an existing ETL system to Talend ETL technology, working closely with internal teams to interpret requirements, and collaborating on the full development lifecycle from project initiation to completion.
Responsibilities:
- Develop ETL jobs using Talend Data Fabric.
- Design and implement ETL processes for extracting and transforming data from various sources, including Snowflake, PostgreSQL, and SQL Server.
- Design and create necessary database tables and constraints according to project requirements.
- Collaborate with team members to understand source data structures, retrieval methods, and internal tools.
- Develop data transformation logic using Talend, SQL, and scripting languages such as Bash and Python.
- Clean, validate, and transform data to meet target schema and quality standards.
- Work on data quality improvement plans in collaboration with the team.
- Participate in troubleshooting to maintain data integrity and process efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years experience with Talend Data Fabric in a professional environment.
- Strong knowledge of Talend Data Fabric, ESB, and MDM, with experience creating ETL from technical specifications and converting ETL from other frameworks.
- At least 5 years of ETL development experience within a health data organization.
- Three years of experience in database, data warehouse, ETL, business intelligence, or software development.
- Experience with Talend Data Integration and Cloud Integration, handling large datasets.
- Proficiency in cloud technologies (Azure/AWS) and Microsoft DevOps Git Repos.
- Skilled with Snowflake, PostgreSQL, and SQL Server.
- Ability to create and modify tables, stored procedures, functions, triggers, and other database objects.
- Ability to work independently in a hybrid work environment.
- Familiarity with HIPAA policies and handling PII and PHI sensitive data.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to handle competing priorities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and documentation skills.
- Detail-oriented and able to maintain organization under tight deadlines.
