UNIVERSAL Technologies is seeking a Program Manager for a hybrid role. The position will require 3 days onsite in Brooklyn, NY and 2 days remote. Must have a LinkedIn account.
Position: The Program Manager will work with the NYC Digital Service team to organize, plan, and track workstreams for the nyc.gov redesign and other digital projects as needed. This role will focus on managing stakeholder and working team meetings, tracking deliverables, and resolving project obstacles. As a Program Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Managing workstreams for the nyc.gov redesign to deliver high-quality digital experiences on time.
- Establishing and tracking project deliverables, while mitigating obstacles in executing project work plans, activities, sprints, or phases.
- Leading and managing sprint planning and task management.
- Monitoring project activities, documenting agreements, communicating with project stakeholders, and escalating issues as necessary.
- Establishing deadlines and monitoring project progress with relevant follow-up.
- Facilitating meetings with teams and stakeholders, creating clear agendas, providing timely recaps, and driving next-step resolutions.

- Minimum of 8 years of experience managing web projects.
- Demonstrated experience in driving websites and web features to launch, with a focus on detail and quality user experiences.
- Deep knowledge of agile project management practices, with experience leading sprints in a large organization and proactive planning.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to launch digital tools and services.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with leadership, experts, decision-makers, and cross-functional teams, coaching teams to drive outcomes.
- Knowledge of agile methodologies and modern software development practices.
- Experience setting up project management processes for cross-functional teams with varied workflows.
