A Growing Company in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area is looking for an Operations Manager to lead its Landscape maintenance division. The right person in this position will definitely have room for growth.
Operations Manager Job Description
Develop, maintain, and improve JBa Land Management, LLC Maintenance Department standards
and systems.
Assign crews to specific jobs and verify that they are on site as per customer requirements with
adequate information, equipment, and materials.
Monitor paperwork of crews assuring it is completed and submitted accurately and on time.
Coordinate and schedule work with other JBa Departments and follow up to assure that work is
completed according to specifications.
Assure material scheduling for all phases of Maintenance and Enhancements.
Accurately prepare Enhancement proposals and billing forms per Company policy and procedure.
Direct and coordination of subcontractors engaged in performing landscape functions in
contractual agreements.
Monitor appearance and operating condition of tools, equipment, vehicles, and coordinate repairs
with the mechanic or outside services.
Coordinate with the team to assure proper equipment is selected, maintained and inventoried.
Understand, interpret and follow JBa employee policies and procedures.
Ensure company safety regulations are understood and followed.
Select, train, coach, and evaluate personnel.
Fully implement company safety program
Assist in development of yearly departmental goals. Achieve individual preset performance goals
Represent JBa in a professional manner and act as PR person for the company.
Manager of accountability to goals, budgets, processes, and vision.
Requirements
The company operates on BOSS business software. Familiarity and comfort with BOSS or another
landscaping industry business management software is a must.
5+ years of experience as an Operations Manager with proven ability to train, develop employees, and
Determine Leadership Skills In Others.
Excellent working knowledge of commercial landscaping including maintenance, enhancements, irrigation,
and construction.
Willing and able to secure applicable operating and/or applicators licenses necessary
Ability to use a computer

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to schedule multiple projects,
prioritize work, and perform several tasks concurrently.
Exceptional common sense problem-solving skills.
Ability to work well with various crew leaders and crews
Possess high level of accountability and responsibility for all activities of self and team.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate to all levels of
leadership, team members, and clients both verbally and written.
Must be able to maintain confidentiality and trust when dealing with difficult, sensitive, and confidential
issues.
Experience With BOSS/Aspire Is Preferred.
Valid driver’s license with a reasonably clean record.
A desire to grow into Branch Manager over 2-4 years
