Title: Senior Financial Analyst
General:
The Financial Analyst serves as key member of the Financial Planning and Analysis team with a key focus on forecasting, market analysis, and business case modeling. In this role, the Financial Analyst will work with and partner across functional divisions to drive financial planning, analysis, and management reporting. This position will partner directly with Sales, Marketing, and Product Innovation to provide in-depth analysis that will drive decision-making and strategy.
Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting & Analysis:
- Prepare monthly reporting packages that support executive team through financial business reviews
- Produce weekly reports on key operating metrics and financial performance
- Support new product launch activity through market analysis and business case modeling
- Own and lead demand consensus meetings including deck preparation, key drivers for changes, analysis of variance to plan, risks and ops, action items, and sales/marketing plan alignment.
- Lead sales and demand forecasting for annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting processes, and continued oversight of current demand
Sales & Marketing Support:
- Communicate on a regular basis trends, insights, risk and opportunities to Sales and Marketing
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify potential growth areas.
- Perform competitive landscape analysis in the markets in which the company operates or expects to operate
- Analyze sales performance metrics, including sales revenue, growth rates, promotion ROI, and customer segmentation.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to optimize sales strategies and campaigns.
- Provide a root cause analysis to actuals versus forecast
Financial Modeling
- Create and maintain forecast models, incorporating market trends and consumer insight
- Develop sales forecasts and projections using statistical modeling techniques
- Continuously refine the demand forecasting model to understand, reflect, and communicate assumptions and new developments
- Assist in the preparation of long-range financial models in support of M&A activity, as needed
- Identify and present key insights from the forecast in concise, logical manner to drive commercial results
Board and Investor presentation coordination:
- Assist in the preparation of Board materials and presentations, and other ad hoc external investor requests, as it relates to market insight and demand forecasting
- Ad hoc analysis as needed

Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position has no direct supervisory responsibility for others.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree (BA, BS) in Accounting, Finance, Economics, similar major, or four (+5) years of equivalent job-related experience. MBA, CPA or CFA preferred.
Other Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in corporate FP&A or Finance
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Python, Tableau, Power BI).
Experience with statistical modeling and forecasting techniques.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Able to develop executive level presentations
Highly analytical, data-driven and results oriented
Ability to synthesize large amounts of data into cohesive and clear narrative, appropriately tailored to different stakeholder groups and objectives
Experience providing ideas and solutions to further business performance
Extremely well organized with strong work ethic
