We are hiring for a Director of People Strategy & Planning on our People team. As our Director, you will help shape, implement, and measure Chime's People Strategy so our People function can be a competitive advantage for Chime. You will lead cross-functional initiatives, ensuring everything aligns with Chime's business vision and strategy.
The base salary offered for this role and level of experience will begin at $168,570.00 and up to $238,900.00. Full-time employees are also eligible for a bonus, competitive equity package, and benefits. The actual base salary offered may be higher, depending on your location, skills, qualifications, and experience.

In this role, you can expect to
- Lead HR transformation projects involving optimization strategy, organizational design, sourcing, selection, and implementation support.
- Facilitate the design, planning, and execution of the People strategy roadmap, translating it into operational goals and objectives integrated across People teams.
- Lead and support business and HR strategic planning, developing insights, articulating program value, and driving sustained adoption of our people practices and programs.
- Assist in the creation and advancement of HR thought leadership tools, resources, and training for People strategy and transformation efforts.
- Research, benchmark, and track innovations in talent, organization, and HR service delivery models across key disciplines.
- Develop the HR Scorecard focusing on metrics that drive organizational health while identifying and addressing acute areas proactively.
- Develop functional HR metrics/KPIs to drive visibility of HR performance, providing objective updates on critical HR activities.
- Provide feedback to other People teams to assess the impact of change on People products and identify improvement opportunities.
- 15+ years of experience in HR/People Strategy, People Operations, People Analytics, Strategic Workforce Planning, business and organizational transformation, or management consulting.
- Experience designing and leading HR/business transformation initiatives with a deep understanding of business processes, project management methodologies, and human capital best practices.
- Proven ability to manage a portfolio of activities, set priorities, balance deadlines, lead conversations, and engage stakeholders across the company.
- Excellent relationship management and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate, socialize, and influence cross-functionally.
- Strong strategic thinking with experience in developing implementation strategies and adapting to different business functions.
- Ability to translate strategy, business initiatives, and abstract ideas into operational activities and key tasks with minimal oversight.
- Strong business acumen with experience working across business functions.
- Attention to detail and deadlines with the ability to manage multiple initiatives.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly to various audiences.
