The Marketing & Communications Strategist is a proven, multi-channel marketing & communications expert who is passionate about shining a light on the blockchain ecosystem and its entrepreneurial success stories, communicating the strengths of the Pantera portfolio & platform to early-stage founders and builders, and building a playbook to help early-stage blockchain teams expand their external awareness and branding alongside Pantera.
We're looking for someone who has been the first marketing hire at an early-stage crypto company and/or relishes the opportunity to develop marketing and content strategy from the ground up with early-stage leaders and executives. This individual will partner closely with internal stakeholders and Pantera portfolio companies alike, as a key member of our Platform / Portfolio team. They will publish original content for the Pantera Blog as well as longform research reports on the blockchain industry. They will also work closely with founders across the ecosystem to consult on best marketing practices.

$170,000—$220,000 USD

Responsibilities
- Work with portfolio companies to craft differentiated marketing narratives with messaging that continuously improves with data
- Write and deliver a consistent stream of high-quality technical and non-technical content by partnering with stakeholders across Pantera's portfolio and the crypto industry
- Prioritize topics for content development and manage and socialize the editorial calendar
- Help Pantera and Portfolio companies develop marketing strategies that align with and amplifies their respective position in the market
- 5+ years of marketing experience in crypto
- Demonstrated experience working with leaders to build a marketing engine from the ground up
- Excellent writing skills and the ability to craft a compelling story
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to wear multiple hats
- Entrepreneurial-minded, with a high sense of dedication and a drive to succeed
- Experience running content strategy and presenting plans and results to senior leadership
- Located in NYC or SF is highly preferred
