Manufacturing Support Team Member (Prod Ops Specialist) - Junior Level

Location: Greenville SC

What You Will Be Doing

Join our F-16 Block 70 Manufacturing Support Team to play a vital role in advancing production processes within a collaborative, team-based environment. As a key contributor, you will support the entire manufacturing and assembly lifecycle of the F-16, with a primary focus on training and certifying technicians in structural assembly processes. Through hands-on guidance and continuous improvement initiatives, you will help shape high-quality production standards and drive operational excellence on the assembly line.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide on-the-job training, procedural guidance, and certification for structural assembly processes to ensure proficiency and high standards.
  • Maintain a constant presence on the assembly line to assess, instruct, and provide feedback, helping to uphold industry and company standards.
  • Evaluate skill levels, provide corrective recommendations to supervisors, and manage re-certification for personnel as needed.
  • Address complex challenges within aircraft manufacturing processes by referring to policies, established practices, and by developing innovative solutions.
  • Participate in corrective action investigations, root cause analysis, and recommend/implement process improvements to streamline operations.
  • Ensure your area of responsibility upholds lean manufacturing and 6S principles to maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment.

Pay Rate:

The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Maryland, Washington or Washington DC is $58,200 - $111,600. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
