  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Job Title: Software Engineer – Application Development and Support

Location: Remote (USA Only)

Position Overview

We are looking for a skilled Software Engineer to develop, enhance, and support applications both on-premise and in the cloud. The ideal candidate will work closely with product and business transformation teams to conceptualize and implement digital solutions, enhancing internal systems to drive efficient cost, schedule, and earned value management. This role requires hands-on experience with application maintenance and iterative improvement in alignment with customer experience and strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain a diverse suite of software applications focused on cost, schedule, and earned value management
  • Work collaboratively with product teams to prioritize requirements, plan for milestones, and deliver minimum viable products (MVP)
  • Engage with internal customers to understand requirements, troubleshoot issues, and apply digital technology solutions
  • Partner with business transformation and developer advocacy teams to gather feedback, assess system effectiveness, and drive data-informed improvements
  • Independently enhance applications to meet evolving business needs and support growth objectives

Required Skills/Tools

  • 5+ years of experience with:
    • Excel macros and data connections
    • .NET C# and VB development
    • PL/SQL database management
    • Tableau Server administration and analytics
    • Direct interaction with end-users for requirements gathering and troubleshooting
  • 3+ years of experience with:
    • Technical and user documentation
    • GitLab for version control
    • Python scripting and automation
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in program management, specifically earned value, cost, and schedule management
  • Familiarity with Deltek applications (Cobra, Open Plan, and PM Compass)
