DEKA R&D has an immediate opening for an Administrative Assistant with excellent verbal and written communication skills and a strong proficiency with Microsoft Office. Must have a high level of understanding and respect for confidentiality. The position is a contract role reporting to the Project Manager with the potential to hire long term.

How you will make an impact:
- Administrative help in all facets of the organization
- Calendar management, scheduling and coordinating travel arrangements for multiple employees
- Creating and editing MS PowerPoint presentations
- Expense reporting and other administrative tasks as needed
- Copying, scanning and filing documents
- Assisting in the preparation of shipments via 3rd party delivery service
- Managing and ordering office supplies as needed
- Organizing and planning team events
- 1+ years experience as an Administrative Assistant or similar role
- Excellent computer skills
- Mastery of Microsoft Office Suite including Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Experience with travel arrangements and calendar management
- High level of written and oral communication skills
- Able to work in a complex environment
- Problem solving capabilities with an ability to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Ability to work in a deadline driven environment
- Ability to multi-task
- Exceptional attention to detail
