Duties And Responsibilities

Identifying and recruiting suitable patients for clinical trials based on the study's inclusion/exclusion criteria. Screening patients to confirm eligibility and obtaining informed consent.
Educating patients about the study's purpose, procedures, risks, and benefits, and obtaining their informed consent to participate.
Providing direct care to patients enrolled in clinical trials, monitoring their progress, managing adverse events, and reporting these to the research team.
Accurately collecting and recording clinical data following study protocols, ensuring data integrity and completeness. This includes updating electronic data capture (EDC) systems and maintaining thorough patient records.
Administering investigational drugs or treatments according to protocol and monitoring patients' responses.
Ensuring that clinical procedures and care are conducted in strict adherence to the study protocol, regulatory requirements, and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines.
Educating patients about their condition, study procedures, and what to expect, providing emotional support, and addressing questions or concerns.
Working closely with the Principal Investigator, other nurses, study coordinators, and support staff to ensure the study runs smoothly and addressing any issues that arise.
