- Work independently as a licensed clinical social worker uses advanced concepts, principles, procedures, practices.
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments of family advocacy patients using psycho-social instruments to form diagnosis.
- Obtain relevant data from legal, investigatory, medical, command, social service agencies, schools, resource programs, etc.
- Interview offenders regarding allegations of abuse or neglect in order to establish them with treatment resources.
- Develop treatment plans based on identified problems, psycho-social factors and treatment capabilities.
- Perform crisis intervention services to assist in the protection of family advocacy victims.
- Prepare related records and documents for inclusion in the Family Advocacy Program (FAP) record.
- Prepare written diagnoses to document patient assessments and/or treatments.
