Job Description

Responsible for managing and directing Nutrition Services and aligning and standardizing processes across the system.

Experience

  • Five years of leadership and management experience in clinical dietetics, food service management, or equivalent experience in a healthcare setting is required.

Education

  • Master’s degree in Nutrition or related field

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in pediatric nutrition
  • Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics membership
  • 10 years of leadership and management experience in clinical dietetics or equivalent
  • Working knowledge of current trends in performance improvement, revenue enhancement, computerization trends, and Joint Commission requirements.

Certification Summary

  • Commission on Dietetic Registration
  • Georgia licensed dietitian

  • Must possess excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills

  • Ensure care is aligned with best evidence-based practices.
  • Lead department in pursuit of quality and performance improvement activities.
  • Leverage Timeless software to achieve operational efficiency and quality improvements.
  • Provide system wide engagement with current and proposed stakeholders.
  • Demonstrates ability to build capability within team.
  • Demonstrates ability to monitor progress toward goals and drive results.
  • Leadership to a team that has been in transition experiencing significant change.
  • Engagement with nursing to provide a multidisciplinary approach to human milk management.
  • Strong level of commitment to clinical and performance excellence, as well as patient and family satisfaction.
  • Effective engagement with physician partners to deliver nutrition services and support.
  • Accurate milk delivery processes and outcomes.
  • Financial oversight and management to budget.
  • Strong people leadership resulting in high employee engagement and strong employee retention.
