We are seeking a dedicated HR Assistant to support our recruitment and onboarding processes, benefits administration, and employee offboarding. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively.

Key Responsibilities
- Review applications and manage job postings
- Schedule candidate screenings and in-person interviews, and send screening recaps to management for review
- Prepare and send offer letters and hiring documents to new hires
- Ensure all onboarding paperwork is completed and processed
- Process I9 employment authorization
- Collaborate with IT and facilities to set up new hires' technology and workspaces prior to their start date
- Conduct exit interviews and process offboarding paperwork
- Implement and support company HR policies
- Build strong relationships with Capelli New York employees and Management
- Regularly update HR databases and files to reflect employment changes
- Perform administrative tasks as needed
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field preferred.
- Prior experience with HRIS systems and recruitment platforms such as Indeed, Work in Sports & LinkedIn
- Prior experience using Canva, Smartdraw and Adobe Illustrator
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Must be based in NYC or Northern NJ
