Business Operations Manager
The Business Operations Manager leads CAVA’s most impactful strategic initiatives, builds organization-wide strategies, and develops critical insights to further the growth of business. The Manager will collaborate with leadership across the company to solve complex, high visibility efforts, providing the organization with recommendations to create long-term growth and support our future.
What You’ll Do:
- Manage execution of complex and high priority projects and partner with key initiative leaders to maintain alignment of projects with strategic direction, including identifying key issues, structuring problems, conducting data analysis and market and competitive research, and building materials to communicate to senior leadership.
- Monitor, measure, and assess how key initiatives and investments are delivering results for CAVA.
- Be a strategic thought partner to leadership, advising on strategy and promoting operational excellence.
- Facilitate cross-functional interactions to resolution, making connections across teams, and building consensus and aligning priorities across departments.
- Create clear, simple, and persuasive storylines to inform and influence executives.
- Identify and pursue opportunities for streamlined operations based on industry trends.
- Partner with departments, including Marketing, Digital, Operations, and Technology to deliver comprehensive solutions.
- Abide by policies and procedures that support the service mindset
- Manage timeline expectations within and across teams, deliver on our responsibilities accordingly
- Earn the trust of Team Members and Managers by consistently embracing CAVA’s values
- Show discipline in bringing consistent performance, communication, and attitude to the job every day
- Actively contribute to your department in order to complete tasks and meet company goals
- Recognize the emotional stake each Team Member has in personal and organizational success of this business
The Skills:
- 4+ years of professional work experience in a related field (consulting, operations, strategy, investment banking)
- Experience with solving ambiguous problems, strategic thinking, and building and executing complex processes
- Strong executive communication and presentation skills
- Strong analytical skills, including ability to analyze and synthesize large data sets
- Strong collaboration and relationship management skills
- Experience working closely with diverse set of stakeholders in a high growth environment
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to maintain stationary position to be able to operate a computer and other office equipment
- Must be able to identify, analyze and assess details
- For certain positions, must be able to occasionally move or transport items up to 50 pounds
- Ability to communicate with others and exchange information accurately and effectively
- Constantly positions self and move about to support ordinary restaurant or food production support or office operations, as applicable
- Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner
