We are seeking an experienced Financial Analyst to join our team, bringing expertise in financial analysis, consulting, auditing, or forensic accounting to support our financial operations.
Position Summary:
The Financial Analyst will be responsible for performing in-depth financial analyses to support decision-making and strategic planning within our organization. This role involves working with cross-functional teams, preparing detailed financial reports, conducting variance analysis, and interpreting data to provide actionable insights. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and has a strong background in data analysis within the insurance or financial services sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct financial analysis to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.
- Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and insights for senior management and stakeholders.
- Analyze trends, costs, revenues, and financial commitments to provide accurate insights into the financial status of the company.
- Conduct variance analysis to understand deviations and improve financial performance.
- Assist in financial audits and forensic accounting processes as needed.
- Utilize Excel for data analysis, financial modeling, and scenario planning.
- Collaborate with other departments to gather and interpret data for business analysis.
- Assist in the development and implementation of financial strategies to optimize profitability.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial analysis, consulting, auditing, or forensic accounting.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including advanced formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis tools) and Word.
- Experience with financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
