Company Description

Valrhona’s story began in 1922 with passion, commitment, and excellence as its guiding lights. We push back the boundaries of creativity and flavor in selecting and cultivating cocoa, preserving terroirs, and prioritizing sustainable links with partner plantations. Our chocolate expands the aromatic palette, supplying artisans with unique materials to unleash their talent. We pass on flavor and savoir-faire to put our expertise at the service of artisans and the gastronomy world, bringing out the best in chocolate.

Since its founding in 1989, L’Ecole Valrhona’s mission has been to serve and support pastry chefs and artisans, offering customers another valuable resource for inspiration, creativity, techniques and knowledge about chocolate and pastry. Today with four locations around the world, 31 years of teaching expertise, 35 chefs and over 16,000 students taught, L’Ecole Valrhona is proud to share its expertise with the global pastry community.
