About The Role


As a Capital Markets Analyst, you will provide analysis, research and perspective based on client and market intelligence to enable senior leaders and CBRE Capital Markets professionals to strategically approach clients. As a member of the national Capital Markets leadership team, the job plays a critical role in the preparation of client meetings and in developing tools and reports leveraged by CBRE investment sales professionals when pursuing new business and providing best in class client service.

What You’ll Do


  • Interpret and add value to internal intelligence, including CBRE’s historical transaction records, client relationship mapping and optimizing the enterprise client relationship management system.
  • Incorporate external intelligence into comprehensive client and market analysis, including but not limited to client portfolio of real estate assets, corporate structure, credit profile, financial filings, fund data, and domestic/international capital sources.
  • Complete reoccurring status updates and reporting on transaction, client and market activity.
  • Perform competitive analyses on business opportunities, client segments and market share statistics.
  • Develop analyses concerning client business challenges and corporate trends resulting in a briefing packet delivered to senior leaders.
  • Partner with Capital Markets senior leadership, vertical coordinators and Marketing in the creation of presentations, proposals, and other client facing materials.
  • Lead special projects for senior leadership or platform initiatives benefiting Capital Markets professionals.
  • Provide centralized support and management for 3rd party licenses.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

What You'll Need


  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Team player, ability to cross-collaborate with various teams across the advisory services platform.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint etc.
  • Strong organizational skills that allow for effective time management and prioritization when balancing multiple deadlines.
  • Ability to complete tasks with accuracy, thoroughness, and consistency.
  • Ability to find creative solutions to overcome challenges and achieve goals, even when resources may be limited.
  • Requires basic knowledge of financial/accounting terms, principles, and calculations.
  • Ability to comprehend, analyze, and draw important conclusions from various types of datasets.
  • Ability to effectively respond to inquiries from clients, co-workers, supervisor, and/or management and present information to leadership and/or large groups of employees.
  • Conduct financial/business analysis.
  • Short paragraph introduction to role and / or team.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Capital Markets Analyst position is $64,000 annually and the maximum salary for the Capital Markets Analyst position is $70,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience.
