The Revenue Negotiation Team is responsible for working with customers to respond to contract inquiries outside of a renewal (including requests to adjust or terminate their contractual obligations) in order to achieve the highest possible retention rates. The RNT representatives are tasked with mitigating churn outside of the renewal cycle and upholding UKG’s contractual rights, while also partnering with internal teams (sales, ERMs) to understand and promote the long-term health of the customer relationship. The ideal candidate will possess excellent negotiation skills, a deep understanding of contract terms and conditions, and the ability to balance customer satisfaction and UKG’s best interests.

The pay range for this position is $48,900 to $70,300, however, base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge and location. This position is also eligible for a short-term incentive and a long-term incentive as part of total compensation. Responsibilities
- Lead negotiations with customers seeking early termination of contracts (full or partial), ensuring a fair and mutually beneficial agreement for both parties
- Thoroughly analyze contract terms, conditions, and legal implications to assess the legitimacy of termination requests
- Effectively communicate with customers and internal stakeholders to understand the business cases behind termination requests, and present mitigation proposals or alternative solutions
- Maintain complete and accurate records of all termination negotiations, including correspondence, agreements, amendments to contract terms, as well as churn forecasts and actuals
- Build and maintain positive relationships with internal stakeholders and customers
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred
- Proven experience in contract negotiation, preferably in a role involving termination requests
- Strong understanding of legal and contractual terms and conditions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and documentation skills
