Responsibilities for the Splunk Architect:
  • Design, implement, and maintain Splunk infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance.
  • Develop and manage Splunk dashboards, reports, alerts, and visualizations to meet business requirements.
  • Collaborate with IT and security teams to integrate Splunk with various data sources and systems.
  • Provide expertise in log management, data analysis, and security monitoring using Splunk.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Splunk performance, data ingestion, and search queries.
  • Conduct regular system health checks and optimize Splunk configurations for efficiency.
  • Mentor and train team members on Splunk best practices and usage.
  • Stay updated with the latest Splunk features, updates, and industry trends.

Requirements for the Splunk Architect:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience with Splunk administration, architecture, and development.
  • Proficiency in creating complex Splunk queries, dashboards, and reports.
  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, networking, and security principles.
  • Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Splunk certifications (e.g., Splunk Certified Architect) are highly desirable.

Compensation for the Splunk Architect:
  • $120,000 - $155,000
