Position Description:
Seeking a full stack Health IT developer to augment our team. The preferred candidate has experience with designing, building and maintaining web solutions and open-source code libraries, working with healthcare standards such as HL7 and FHIR. This developer has strong technical skills utilizing clean and solid programming techniques, web security practices, and design patterns. Additionally, expertise in API integration, and providing support will be crucial for success in this role.
Job Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and implement applications to support business requirements.
Collaborate with a cross-functional team to understand requirements, communicate designs, and implement specifications.
Build content driven enterprise level and public facing web applications, implementing user interfaces.
Develop, test, document and maintain cutting edge web solutions for our clients. Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of web solutions.
Maintain and manage open-source libraries.
Evaluate designs, wireframes, and other deliverables for development feasibility, and collaborate with designers as needed.
Contribute to cross-browser and cross-device testing to ensure consistent display in major supported browsers on Mac, PC, iOS and Android.
Create documentation around processes including deployments, solution audits, data and content migrations, and systems integrations.
Work in Agile/SCRUM methodologies, meeting delivery milestones and quality expectations.
Consistently stay abreast of the leading trends in the industry and integrate the best techniques, tools, and practices into the development process.
Create and maintain standards, practices, and supporting tools to ensure teams provide a consistent level of service.
Manage site compliance including 508 and WCAG standards.
Work with healthcare standards such as HL7 and FHIR.
Review and provide feedback on CDS artifacts.
Job Minimum Required Skills & Qualifications:
5+ years of experience developing websites using React, Node.JS.
5+ years of experience working with Health IT standards such as HL7, FHIR and CQL.
3+ years of experience developing and deploying dynamic and responsive user interfaces compatible with multiple browsers using HTML5, JavaScript, and CSS.
Experience maintaining APIs and managing open-source libraries.
Experience developing to 508 compliance standards.
Experience using JIRA Service Desk ticketing system.
Experience with Agile Development.
Preferred Qualifications:
Position is 100% remote with preference to location in the DMV area and ability to attend meetings in person in this area.
Candidates must have the ability to work in the US, no visa sponsorship available.
Experience with federal projects is a significant advantage.
