Role Overview:

The Senior Manager of Digital User Experience & E-Commerce Website Product Manager is a visionary leader responsible for optimizing and managing our digital experiences across multiple brands and our e-commerce website. This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on execution to ensure seamless user experiences, drive conversion rate optimization, support SEO efforts, and align digital initiatives with business goals. The ideal candidate will bring extensive UX/UI experience, particularly in CPG and DTC brands, and excel in content and change management, customer journey optimization, and cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • UX/UI Leadership and E-Commerce Optimization:
    • Guide the design, functionality, and continuous improvement of our digital platforms and e-commerce website, ensuring an intuitive, engaging, and seamless user experience.
    • Lead the web editing team responsible for site updates, promotional content creation, and maintaining brand consistency across digital touchpoints.
    • Champion holistic user experiences, leveraging data-driven insights to enhance user engagement, conversion rates, and customer satisfaction.
    • Collaborate with the SEO team to ensure that site enhancements and content updates align with SEO best practices, driving organic search performance.
    • Work closely with and collaborate with the broader Digital Marketing Team, product marketing and brand to ensure that style guides are consistently followed throughout the site.
  • Customer Experience and Journey Optimization:
    • Monitor and refine the end-to-end customer journey across multiple brands and platforms, ensuring a positive, consistent experience that aligns with business objectives.
    • Identify and prioritize site and platform improvements to continuously optimize performance, meet user needs, and support SEO goals.
  • Roadmap and Strategic Vision:
    • Develop and manage a roadmap for site-related projects and UX/UI advancements, aligning with enterprise business goals and future-state initiatives.
    • Write clear and concise requirements and specifications for the development of new web features and components, ensuring they support both user experience and SEO objectives.
  • Leadership and Collaboration:
    • Lead a team of UX/UI designers and website editors, and collaborate with IT, developers, and external agencies as needed to guide them through iterative design processes for enhancing the user experience.
    • Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, marketing, IT, SEO specialists, and external agencies to execute cohesive digital initiatives.
  • Continuous Improvement and Technical Expertise:
    • Identify and troubleshoot UX problems, collect and analyze user feedback, and optimize features accordingly.
    • Develop and maintain detailed user interface specifications and champion the use of wireframe tools like Figma and Adobe XD.
    • Work closely with designers, agencies, developers and IT teams to submit, track, and support change requests and development sprints, ensuring alignment with the strategic roadmap.
    • Maintain a strong understanding of content management systems (preferably SFCC and Shopify), ensuring that these platforms are effectively leveraged to support business needs and SEO strategies.
    • Stay up to date on online merchandising and UX/UI trends in the digital marketplace.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • UX/UI Design Experience:
    • Experience in UX/UI design, interaction design, and information architecture, with a strong track record in optimizing digital experiences to improve conversion and the customer experience.
  • Technical Proficiency:
    • Ability to write clear and concise technical requirements and specifications for web development.
    • Proficiency in wireframe tools such as Figma and Adobe XD.
    • Strong skills in data analysis using tools like Excel, Google Analytics, Hotjar, and Microsoft Clarity.
    • Familiar with using collaboration, project and task management tools like Asana or Workfront to assign/schedule/prioritizework, collect feedback from stakeholders, monitor progress, and schedule launches.
  • Communication and Collaboration:
    • Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to guide cross-functional teams and manage external agencies.
    • Proven ability to translate complex designs (site features, interactions, web pages, etc.)into clear presentations for non-technical audiences.
  • E-Commerce, DTC Experience, and SEO:
    • Experience with optimizing e-commerce platforms and managing enterprise technology stacks to support future development.
    • Familiarity with SEO best practices and their application in UX/UI design and content management.

Qualifications:

  • Education:
    • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Design, Marketing, Technology, Business, User Experience, Information Architecture, or a related field is prefered.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in digital product manager, a UX/UI designer, ecommerce manager, digital brand manager, information architect, or a similar role, with some management experience.
  • Management, Leadership and Strategic Vision:
    • Ability to lead and mentor a team, work with external agency resources, and collaborate cross-functionally to drive digital transformation.
    • Strong strategic thinking, with the ability to create and execute strategies for enhancing digital user experiences and guiding change management.
