Position: Estate Planning & Estate Administration Paralegal (Temp or Temp-to-Hire)
Location: Portland, OR
Pay: $35-45/hr.
LHH urgently seeks a skilled Estate Planning and Estate Administration Paralegal to join our client s team in Portland. This is a temporary or temp-to-hire role ideal for an empathetic, detail-oriented professional who excels in client interactions and has a strong background in estate planning. Based on performance and firm needs, the position could potentially transition into a full-time role within a few months.
Key Responsibilities:
Draft estate planning documents, including wills, trust agreements, and deeds
Manage estate and trust administration tasks, such as probate pleadings, tax returns, and client file organization
Support attorneys in creating and refining process improvements and document templates
Maintain accurate and timely timekeeping records
Essential Skills and Capabilities:
Strong written and verbal communication
High tolerance for fast-paced environments and last-minute deadlines
Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with strong problem-solving skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Excel, Visio, and document automation tools preferred
Requirements:
College degree or equivalent work experience
Minimum of 3+ years' law firm experience, with specific expertise in estate planning
Experience with complex, high net-worth estates and trust matters is a plus
