LHH has a client who is currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Account Resolution/Legal Representative to join their team.
Responsibilities:
Analyze and marshal account information, including reviewing full customer relationship, reviewing documentation such as loan agreements and statements, and interpreting payment history in several different systems (for different loan types), to prepare requests for legal action and provide supporting details and documentation
Research debtors employment status and property ownership
An ideal candidate will have the following qualities/experience (among others which may also make them well-suited to the role), and a candidate with at least several of the following would be worth considering:
Exceptional attention to detail
Familiarity with loans, including the impacts of time (and the related calculation of interest and fees candidate will not need to do the calculations, but understanding how/why/when such calculations are made would be very helpful)
Proficiency in MS Word and Adobe Acrobat
1+ years experience in at least one of the following roles:
A legal assistant or paralegal with exposure to:
Consumer loan related litigation/debt collection, and/or
Evaluating documentary evidence related to loans or other debts
A loan originator, with experience understanding and disclosing loan terms and preparing loan documents
Working for a financial institution and interfacing with customers regarding auto loan or unsecured loan payments
Pay Details: $24.00 to $26.00 per hour
